This week is tec-diving week at Divetech, meaning there are a ton (28-30) of technical divers from around the world at Andrea’s shop. For those who don’t know, Andrea and I are recreational divers/instructors, meaning we don’t go deeper than 130 feet (usually). Technical divers go to 130 feet and beyond, and they use much more technical equipment, such as rebreathers and closed circuit systems, to do so.
There are lots of great divers at Divetech this week, but despite their impressive skills and credentials they all have one thing in common. They are not super-hot like my wife is. Andrea is a very attractive woman, and not surprisingly, people take notice of that. In this case, it has resulted in a unique opportunity for her.
One of these tech-divers is a photographer for a scuba magazine, and he needed a picture for one of the upcoming covers. The guy had a choice — take a picture of one of the middle-aged, balding, out of shape men that make up the majority of the participants of tec-week, or enlist my sexy wife to appear on the cover. Wisely, he chose the second option.
Andrea and I went for a dive tonight (I’ll be blogging about that one soon!), and at the start of the dive this photographer came out with us and took some pictures for the cover oh his magazine. Once we know which magazine and issue it is, we will post the relevant information. Until then, though, here are some pictures of the underwater photo shoot!
